Seeing ourselves as responsible corporate citizens, we imported coal from Africa and Indonesia to support industries in cement, steel, paper, thermal power, pharmaceuticals, and rubber. Storage facilities were set up at various ports with rail connectivity to other Indian cities. The ports include Dharamtar, Jaigaidh, Kandla, Surat, Navlakhi, Vishakapatnam, Gangavaram, Tuticorin, Paradeep, and Haldia. From these locations and others, we supply 3.5 million tonnes of coal to domestic and global markets.
Furnace Oil

Furnace oil consists mainly of residues from crude-oil distillation. It is used primarily in steam boilers on ships and in industrial plants. Commercial fuel oils are usually blended with other petroleum fractions to produce specific viscosity and flash point levels that are usually higher than that of kerosene (which is not strictly a fuel oil).

Iron ore comprises rocks and minerals from which metallic iron is extracted. There are four main types of iron ore deposits: massive hematite (which is the most commonly mined), magnetite, titanomahgnetite, and pisolitic ironstone. These ores vary in colour from dark grey, bright yellow, or deep purple to rusty red.
Iron ore, which is mined in 50 odd countries, is the primary source of iron for the world’s iron and steel industries. With about 98% of mined iron ore used in steelmaking, it is a key component in the development of steel-based industrial infrastructure.
